Feed‑Builder Tutorial
This guide shows how to turn your website into ready‑to‑approve Facebook post drafts. No tech skills needed.
Create your content feed
Start at Feed Builder. This is where you tell SnapPoster which website to use, what to call the feed, and what language to write in.
What you can do on this screen
- Website URL: paste the page you want SnapPoster to read (usually your homepage or shop).
- Feed name: give it a name you will recognize later.
- Language: pick the language for the post drafts (or keep auto‑detect).
- Generate: create 30 post drafts. You can review and edit them before anything is posted.
Why this step matters
- Better results: the right URL helps SnapPoster find the best content.
- Less confusion later: a clear feed name makes it easy to manage multiple feeds.
- Correct language: your posts match your audience.
Best practices (simple rules)
- Use a full link (start with https://).
- Pick the “main” page of your business (homepage or your shop’s main page).
- Avoid login‑only pages (SnapPoster can’t read content behind a login).
- Name it clearly, like “CityShop Winter Deals” or “My Site – Products”.
- If you have multiple languages on your website, pick the language you want the posts written in.
Review & edit your drafts
After you click Generate, SnapPoster will work for a short moment and then open the editor where you can review and edit the 30 drafts. Nothing is posted without your approval.
Why it can take about a minute
While you wait, SnapPoster is reading your website and turning it into draft posts.
- Finds good pages on your site.
- Pulls out the important parts (titles, short text, and links).
- Prepares images from your site.
- Writes 30 draft posts in your chosen language.
What you’ll see while it’s working
- “Processing…”: a post is still loading. This is normal.
- Drafts appear first, then fill in as SnapPoster finishes each one.
- Nothing is published until you click Publish Now.
Best practices
- Keep this tab open while drafts are being prepared.
- Wait a moment before refreshing the page.
When drafts are ready: preview, fix, and polish
When the drafts are ready, you can quickly review each post, swap images, and adjust the wording. This is where you make sure everything looks right for your brand.
What you can do on each post card
- Change the image or add a video: click the big image box. You can upload an image or a video file.
- Pick a different image: use the small image tools on the card to switch to another option.
- Generate a new image: if you agree to the AI image rules, you can generate a fresh image based on the post text.
- Edit the text: change the title and the main text so it sounds natural and accurate.
- Choose the style (tone): use the dropdown (Default, Helpful, Bold, etc.) to change how the post “sounds”.
- Preview: click Preview to see how the post will look on Facebook.
- Save / Regenerate / Delete: save your edits, regenerate a better version, or remove a post you don’t want.
Why some images may not show right away
Images can load slowly, or your website may have missing/broken images. This is common and usually easy to fix.
- Wait 10–30 seconds: some cards finish later than others.
- Try a different image: click the image area and pick another option or upload your own.
- Use AI image generation (optional): generate a new image that matches your post text.
- If many images are missing: your website likely needs fixing. Ask your web developer — or a web development agency like magentopood.ee — to repair broken pages/images first.
Important: keep posts realistic
SnapPoster builds drafts from your website. It does not invent new offers or facts. Always review drafts to make sure they are true and not misleading. If your website content is unclear or broken, the drafts will be weaker — fix the website first, then generate again.
